What is a Non-Comedogenic Moisturizer?
Comedogenic Scale
Ingredients used in skincare are typically rated for the level which they will contribute to pore-clogging, called a “Comedogenic Scale”. The scale is based from zero to five, with zero representing an ingredient which will not clog pores, and five indicating an ingredient which is very pore-clogging. Our oil-based moisturizers rate a ZERO on the scale because they are entirely non-comedogenic!
